Axial piston pump closed circuit high pressure
Brief description of the device
Axial piston pumps
One class of volumetric pumps are piston pumps. In this mechanism, the movement of fluid is carried out through its displacement from the fixed working chambers of the device. Repression is carried out by so-called displacers. The working chamber of the volumetric pump is a limited space in which alternating communication with the inlet and outlet of the pump takes place. Displacer is a dynamic device displacing fluid from the working chambers. For example: plunger, piston, diaphragm.
Piston pumps are divided into:
- by type of displacers: piston, plunger, and diaphragm
- according to the principle of motion of the leading link. For example, cam and crank pumps. In these devices, reciprocating motion, rotational motion
- according to the number of discharge and suction cycles in one double stroke: one-way action; double acting
- by the number of pistons: one-and two-piston, as well as multi-piston
Axial piston pump of simple action
The pump piston is connected with a crank mechanism. During operation, the driving member reciprocates in the cylinder.
The principle of operation of a piston pump simple action
Moving the piston to the right creates a vacuum in the working chamber. At this point, the suction valve rises. Further, the liquid from the supply tank enters the working chamber. A piston stroke to the left (reverse) leads to the closing of the suction valve - the discharge valve opens and the liquid enters the pressure pipe.
As a result of each engine revolution, two piston strokes are performed.
To improve the performance of piston pumps, manufacturers make them double, build, etc.
